What is Cover limit?

In short

The most a policy will pay out for the cover it names.

A cover limit is the ceiling a policy pays for a named piece of cover. A claim above that ceiling is not paid in full, so a small limit can leave a large share of a bill to you. 1Cover shows unlimited overseas emergency medical and hospital expenses. Absa states R6,000,000 as its instant life maximum, and Acko offers INR 25 lakh to INR 100 crore (term life). AA Breakdown lists GBP 535 per claim for Parts and Garage Cover, which is a per claim amount rather than an annual one.
