What is Audience?

In short

Audience is the group a product is written for, which shapes who can actually open it.

Providers sort what they sell by audience, the kind of customer the product was built for. Two products from the same firm can have entirely different audiences, and a product aimed at one group may not suit another at all, so the audience label is a fast way to narrow a list.

The examples here cover three groups. 10Life writes for expats, and 1Cover and 1st Insurance each have products for seniors. ABN AMRO NL Zakelijk and ABN AMRO Zakelijk write for business customers, so their cards and accounts are aimed at a company rather than a household.
